Orthotics

We perform an in-depth biomechanical assessment of the feet, lower extremities and back to determine the need for integrating orthotics with the physical therapy treatment plan. In certain instances, we will perform taping of the foot to simulate different orthotics. If determined to be beneficial, we will perform fitting of customizable heat molded orthotics (Vasyli Ⓡ) that are specific to the patient’s dysfunction and footwear. We then monitor the patient’s response to a progressive increase in wear time to ensure the appropriate response.
