Emily Herndon, DPT, CLT-LANA graduate from the University of Montana in 2006 with a doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to this she completed a BS in Exercise Science, Athletic Training at Murray State University in 2003 and AAS Physical Therapist Assistant at MT. Hood Community College in 2000. Emily opened Plains Physical Therapy in September 2008 and has loved serving this community ever since. Emily Herndon has extensive post graduate training in lymph-edema management, women’s health, men’s pelvic health, vestibular training, functional dry needling, and Active Release Techniques.
Emily resides in Missoula with her husband Joel and two children Danae and Piper. Joel is the Director of Communications at the University of Montana and Emily rarely misses a Griz sporting event. She also enjoys playing ice hockey, she is a goalie during the winter months and hiking with her children when the snow melts.
